ヤマザクラ (Prunus Jamasakura)

　ヤマザクラ（山桜、バラ科）。2011年4月6日、鈴の宮公園で撮影。

　先般購入した CD とDVD のセット『鮫島有美子がうたう 日本のうた・世界のうた 100』の中に「さくら橫ちょう」という歌がある。サクラを見て思い出す昔の恋がテーマである。作詞者は私が大いに尊敬していた評論家、故・加藤周一であり、歌えるようになりたい気がするが、別宮貞雄による曲は覚えるのが難しそうだ。

Recently I bought a set of CD and DVD entitled "100 Songs of Japan and the World sang by Yumiko Samejima," which included the song, "Sakura Yokocho (Cherry Blossom Alley)." The theme of the song is recalling of an old love by looking at cherry blossoms. The writer of the lyric of the song is the critic Shuichi Kato, whom I highly respected. So, I want to become able to sing this song, but the composition by Sadao Bekku seems rather hard to memorize.
