オランダ、ベルギー運河の船旅 １８ (Cruise on Canals in the Netherlands and Belgium -18-)

ブルージュでの写真の続きの最後。
The last continuation of photos taken in Bruges.

マルクトに面して立つゴシック復古様式の州庁舎。1881年から1921年にかけて建てられた。
The "Provinciaal Hof" at the Market square, built in "gothic revival style" in 1881–1921.

ヤン・ブレイデルとピーテル・ド・コーニンクの像が州庁舎に向かい合って立つ。彼らは、1302年にフランス軍と戦い自由を奪い返した時に大活躍した市民で、
英雄として称えられている。

昼食を楽しんだレストラン、Le Panier d'or。
Restaurant Le Panier d'or where we had lunch.

Le Panier d'Or で味わったベルギー伝統料理、チコリのグラタン。
Traditional Belgian cuisine, gratin of chicory, we tasted at Le Panier d'or.

昼食後、運河クルーズによるブルージュめぐりをしたが、あいにくの雨（一時、あられも）で、ボート上で傘をさしての観光となり、写真を撮れなかった。上の写真は、帰途のバスの窓から。先を行くのは同じ旅行グループが分乗しているバス。
After lunch, we had a canal cruise in Bruges. Unfortunately, it rained (also hailed for a short time), and we had to open umbrellas on the boat without being able to take photos.
The photo above was taken from the bus window on the return path.
The bus going ahead is another of our travel group.

In the late afternoon, our ship Serenade II departed from Vlissingen for Antwerp. (To be continued)
