「淡路ラン展」、詳しくいえば「淡路夢舞台ラン展 2014 —新しきランの世界—」の会場は、淡路市にある複合文化リゾート施設「淡路夢舞台」（2000 年に開催された国際園芸・造園博「ジャパンフローラ 2000」の会場。1 枚目の写真）内の温室「奇跡の星の植物館」（同写真の中央右寄りの建物）である。同展は 2014 年 1 月 25 日に始まり、3 月 9 日まで開催されている。
毎年全国のラン展の最優秀賞を総なめにしている斎藤正博さんのラン「カトレア・トリアネ・オカダ」が、2 月 10 日までの展示予定だったところ、雪のため撤去の運搬予定が遅れ、見ることが出来たのは幸いだった（2 枚目の写真）。そのほか、珍しくまた美しいランがあまりにも沢山あり、目移りがして、的を絞って写すことが困難だった。一番下の写真は「ドラキュラ・レゼキアナ」という不気味な名のもの。その隣にあった「ドラキュラ・ギガス」は、サルの顔のような花をつけるということだが、いまは花をつけていなかった（こちらの写真参照）。
天候にも恵まれ、よい日帰りの旅だった。（完）
"Awaji Orchid Exhibition," the detailed title of which is "Awaji Yumebutai Orchid Exhibition 2014: The New World of Orchid," is being held at the greenhouse in "Awaji Yumebutai" (the site of "Japan Flora 2000"; see the top photo). Starting on January 25, 2014, this exhibition is going to be held until March 9.
The orchid, Cattleya trianae 'Okada', made by Masahiro Saito, who has been sweeping the highest awards of orchid exhibitions across the country every year, was scheduled to be presented until February 10. However, luckily for us, the transportation plan of removal has been delayed because of snow, and we were able to see it (the second photo). There were so many rare or beautiful orchids that it was quite difficult for me to choose good ones for photographing. The bottom photo shows the orchid of a spooky name dracula rezekiana. Next to it, there was dracula gigas. This species is known to have a flower like a monkey's face, but is not blooming now (see the photo here).
Blessed also with the weather, we had a nice one-day trip. (End)
