8 月 3 日の土曜日午後、次女一家がわが家へ来た。（最近は "Ted's Archives" と「平和の浜辺：福泉・鳳地域『憲法９条の会』」のブログに力を入れているので、本ブログに日々の出来事を書くのが遅れがちである。）ちょうどその夕方、町内の「ふれあいまつり」が開催されたので、妻と私は二人の孫を連れて、それを覗きに行った。上の写真はそのときの様子で、1 枚目は、まつり会場の雰囲気、2 枚目は、町内会長さんが演じる手品に熱心に見入る子どもたち（左手前の女の子が幼い方の孫）。
In the afternoon of Saturday, August 3, my second daughter's family came to my house. Just that evening, "Friendship Festival" of our block was held. So, my wife and I went to see it with our grandchildren. Photos above are shots at that time. Top, the atmosphere of the festival site; and bottom, children eagerly looking at jugglery played by the block chairperson (the girl at the nearest left is our youngest grandchild).
