昨6月4日午前、妻と泉南市の長慶寺へアジサイを見に行った。ここからは阪和線快速に約30分乗り、和泉砂川駅から約25分歩いて行ける。今年は咲き方が少し遅いようで、色づいている花はまだ少なかった。しかし、駅から静かな街を通ってのちょっとしたハイキングと、仁王門前の100段の石段（1枚目の写真）を昇っての、境内の眺め（2、3枚目の写真）は楽しめた。
Yesterday morning, my wife and I went to Chōkei Temple, Sen'nan City, to look at flowers of hydrangeas. We arrived at the temple after taking the tram for about 30 minutes and walking about 25 minutes. Blooming of hydrangeas seemed to be later than usual; flowers well colored were still relatively small in number. However, we were able to enjoy a little hiking through quiet streets. After going up one-hundred stone steps (the first photo) to the main gate (Niō gate), we had marvellous views of the garden of the temple (the second and third photos).
