ムラサキゴテン (Wandering Jew)

　ムラサキゴテン（紫御殿、ツユクサ科）、別名パープルハート（ 園芸品種名として）。6月24日、ウォーキング途中で撮影。

スイセンノウ (Rose Campion)

　スイセンノウ（酔仙翁、ナデシコ科）、別名フランネルソウ。6月24日、堺市・中の池公園で撮影。

大阪で ２ (In Osaka 2)

　写真はいずれもさる4日に撮影したもので、上から、乗船したグルメ・ミュージック船「ひまわり」、水上バス「 アクアライナー 」、水上バスから見た中之島の大阪市中央公会堂、中之島東端にある大噴水。

Photos were taken past Sunday; from the top, gourmet-music boat "Himawari," a sightseeing boat "Aqua-Liner", Nakanoshima Central Public Hall seen from the latter boat and the big fountain at the east end of Nakanoshima.

大阪で (In Osaka)

　さる3日、埼玉からの来客があった。2007年に日本一周クルーズで知り合った女医・Nさん（81歳）である。一昨年秋に夫君を亡くされた。夕方、妻とともに新大阪駅で出迎え、夜は一同、大阪市内のホテルで過ごした。1枚目のスケッチは、ホテルの窓から見た大阪の街。2日目には OAP（大阪アメニティパーク）港からグルメ・ミュージック船「ひまわり」でのランチクルーズと、水上バス「 アクアライナー 」による大阪城・中之島めぐりを楽しんだ。2枚目のスケッチは、「ひまわり」への乗船を待つ間に描いた大川対岸の桜之宮公園。

Last Saturday we had a guest from Saitama, an 81-year old medical doctor. My wife and I were acquainted with her and her husband on the occasion of a cruise around Japan in 2007. She lost her husband in 2008. We met at Shin'osaka Station in the late afternoon and spent the night at a hotel in Osaka. The first sketch shows the street of Osaka seen from the hotel room. On Sunday, we enjoyed a lunch cruise on "Himawari" and a sightseeing cruise on "Aqua-Liner" to Osaka Castle and Nakanoshima. Both the cruises started from OAP Port. I draw the second sketch when we were waiting for the lunch cruise, and shows Sakuranomiya Park on the other side of Okawa River.

ネムノキ (Persian Silk Tree)

　ネムノキ（合歓木、ネムノキ科）。6月24日、堺市・鳳公園で撮影。
