3 (The Bus Trip for Viewing Wisteria Blossoms in Wake 3)

After lunch, we visited a Bizen pottery in Ibe and Fuji (Wisteria) Park in Wake. This year, wisteria blossoms were late to start blooming, and the landscape of the Park were not yet beautiful enough. However, some kind of wisteria trees already had fair blossoms. The top photo shows tamasakifuji from Ina City; the flowers of this tree have the unique feature of not opening in the butterfly configuration. The middle photo shows ōshirafuji from Miyazaki Shrine, Miyazaki City; this tree is said to be the largest of this kind in Japan. The bottom photo shows the scenery of the park viewed near the ōshirafuji tree.
