オランダ、ベルギー運河の船旅 １ (Cruise on Canals in the Netherlands and Belgium -1-)

　2012年4月15日から25日まで、妻と私はニッコウトラベルの企画による「10年に一度の花の博覧会を訪れるオランダ、ベルギー運河の船旅」に参加した。観光先は上図（ニッコウトラベルのパンフレットによる。地名等の英語は筆者が挿入）の通り。

From April 15 to 25, 2012, my wife and I joined a group tour organized by Nikko Travel Co. Ltd. The plan of the trip was of the name "Cruise on canals in the Netherlands and Belgium to visit the flower exposition opening once in 10 years." The destinations of the tour are shown in the above map (taken from a leaflet of Nikko Travel Co. Ltd.; English words for places etc. have been put by the present author).

　私たちは出発前夜、関西空港のホテルに宿泊し、15日10時30分発のKLM機で飛び立った。アムステルダム到着は現地時間の15日15時30分頃。空港からバスで港に待機するクルーズ船「セレナーデ II 号」（1,700トン）へ移動。

We stayed at the hotel by Kansai International Airport at the night of April 14 and took the KLM airplane that started at 10:30 nest morning. The time of arrival at Amsterdam was around 15:30 (local time) of the same day. Then, we moved by bus from the airport to the cruise ship, Serenade II (1,700 tons), which waited us at the canal port.

私たちの船室（上のスケッチ）は、2009年に同じ船でライン河・マイン河クルーズに参加したときとは異なっていたが、壁に飾ってある絵は同じだった。今回の旅の参加者は57名。

Our cabin was not the same as the one in which we stayed during the cruise on the Rhein and the Main in 2009, but the picture hung on the wall was the same. The number of participants of this tour was 57.

　上の2枚の写真は船から見たアムステルダム港の様子で、2枚目は夕食後の20時過ぎに撮ったものだが、まだこのように明るかった。（つづく）

Above two photos are the views of canal port. The bottom one was taken after dinner at a little past 20:00, indicating the lateness of sunset in this area. (To be continued)
