「ターナー展」を見たあと、われわれのバスは「淡路ラン展」が開催されている淡路市へ向かう。途中、ホテルセトレ神戸・舞子内のリストランテ・ミア・アルベルゴでイタリアンランチを楽しむ。 1 枚目の写真は、ホテルの正面奥から眺めた明石海峡大橋と淡路島。 2 枚目は、ミア・アルベルゴから見た舞子公園方面。六角形に見える緑色の建物は孫文記念館の一部、八角形の中国式楼閣「移情閣」である。1915 年築の現存する日本最古のコンクリートブロック造建造物として、国の重要文化財に指定されている。(つづく)
After we had seen "Turner Exhibition," our bus went toward Awaji City, where "Awaji Orchid Exhibition" is held. On the way, we enjoyed Italian lunch at Ristorante Mia Albergo in Hotel Setre, Maiko, Kobe. The upper of photos above shows the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge and Awaji Island viewed from the reception room of the hotel. The lower shows the Maiko Park area seen from Mia Albergo. The green building that looks to have the hexagonal form is part of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall called "Ijōkaku." It is a Chinese-style house of the octagonal shape built in 1915. Being Japan's oldest concrete block building existing now, it was designated as an important cultural property of the country. (To be continued)
