ベートーヴェンの墓 (Beethoven's Grave)

　先に2004年1月のニュージーランド旅行の写真を連載したのに続いて、同年6月のオーストリア旅行の写真を連載する。旅行は JTB による「世界の旅情：大自然 オーストリア周遊」という企画のもので、関西空港を10時10分にOS 056便で出発した。ウィーンへは時差の関係で同日の15時25分に到着し、早速、ウィーン中央墓地を見学した。ここは、オーストリア＝ハンガリー帝国崩壊前に人口400万を想定して建設された巨大な墓地で、著名な作曲家の墓が一カ所に集められている [1]。写真はルートヴィヒ・ヴァン・ベートーヴェンの墓。［オーストリア旅行の写真 1; 2004年6月17日］

Finishing the photo series of the New Zealand tour (January 2004), I start to post another photo series of the Austria tour in June 2004. The trip was organized by JTB under the name of "Travel with Heart: Excursions of Austrian Great Nature." We left Kansai Airport at 10:10 by the flight OS 056, and arrived in Vienna at 15:25 of the same day because of the time difference. Then, we immediately visited the Central Cemetery in Vienna. This is a huge cemetery built before the collapse of Austria-Hungary by assuming 400 million population, and the graves of famous composers are collected in one place [1].
