ドナウ川クルーズ ４６ (Cruise on the Danube -46-)

　旅の 7 日目（10 月 24 日）午後、メルクからリンツへのクルーズ（続き）。

The afternoon of the seventh day (October 24) of the trip: cruise from Melk to Linz (continuation).


17:35 頃、われわれの船が水門に入り後方の扉が閉じられつつある。
Around 17:35, our ship has entered the sluice, and the rear valve is being closed.


17:36 頃、水門の後方の扉が完全に閉じる直前。
Around 17:36, it's just a little before the rear valve is closed completely.


船の前方では、ちょうど夕日が扉の下へ沈んだところである。
In the forward direction of the ship, the sun has just sunk below the forward valve.


17:45 頃、水門内に水が注入され、船が上昇して来たので、前方の扉の向こうに，夕日とそれを映しているドナウ川の上流が再び見える。
Around 17:45, water is injected into the sluice, and the ship comes up. Thus, beyond the forward valve we again see the setting sun and the upstream of the Danube,
which reflects the sunset.


17: 47:30 頃、注水が更に進む。
Around 17: 47:30, water injection has advanced further.


17:49 頃、注水が完了する寸前で、前方の扉がわずかに細い線状になって見える。この後、前方の扉が開いて船は航行を再開する。
Around 17:49, irrigation is almost complete, and the forward valve is seen as a thin line. After this, the forward valve is opened, and the ship resumes its journey.
