ハナミズキ（赤） (Flowering Dogwood - Red)

　ハナミズキ（花水木、ハナミズキ科）。別名、アメリカヤマボウシ。2011年4月20日と24日、わが家の庭で撮影。昨年までは低い枝にも花が咲いたのだが、今年は高所にしか咲かなくて、花のクローズアップ写真を撮ることがむずかしい。

Flowering dogwood; botanical name, Cornus florida; family, Cornaceae. The photo was taken on April 20 and 24, 2011, in our yard. Until last year, even the lowest branches of this tree had blossoms. This year, however, only higher branches had blossoms, so that it was difficult to take close-up photos of the blossoms.
