オランダ、ベルギー運河の船旅 ３９ (Cruise on Canals in the Netherlands and Belgium -39-)

　4月23日朝、私たちはルールモントの港からバスに約30分乗って、ヴェルノで開催されている花の博覧会「フロリアード 2012」を見に出かけた。この博覧会は10年に一度行なわれるもので、今年は4月5日から10月7日まで開かれている。

In the morning of April 23, we went from the Roermond port to Venlo by the bus ride of about 30 minutes, in order to see "Floriade 2012: World Horticultural Expo" being held there from 5 April to 7 October 2012. The Expo is held once every 10 years.

旅行社とバス会社の連絡の手違いで、バスの迎えに来るのがかなり遅れた間に、ルールモント港近くの緑の広場をスケッチした。これが、この旅での最後のスケッチである。
Due to the mistake of communication between the travel agency and the bus company, buses came to pick up us much belatedly. Thus, I made the above sketch of a green square near the Roermond port while waiting. This is my last sketch of this tour.

会場へ入ると、中国で見られるのに似た高脚踊り（または高足踊り）のダンサーたちが出迎えてくれた。「フロリアード 2012」の地図には、"Foot Kiss for Butterflies" と名づけられた場所がある。このダンサーたちは、チョウの姿をしていたのだ！ 風か身体の動きのため、羽が舞い上がって、あまりチョウらしく撮れてはいないが。
When we entered the venue, high-feet dancers, similar to those seen in China, greeted us by dancing. In a map of "Floriade 2012," there is a place named "Foot Kiss for Butterflies." Those dancers represented butterflies! Due to wind or their body movement, their wings went up high, so that they are not seen much like butterflies in these shots.
