ワイトモのトーテムポール (The Totem Pole at Waitomo)

　近年、冬期に連載していた海外旅行の写真は、昨年2月24日付けで掲載したニュージーランド旅行の写真の147枚目、ワイトモ鍾乳洞出口の写真が最後になっていた。きょうからしばらく、その続きを掲載する。上掲の写真 (No. 148) は、ワイトモ鍾乳洞見物後、その付近に立っていたトーテムポール。両脇に立っているのは同行グループ中の歯医者さん夫妻（和歌山県在住）。夫君は写真撮影が得意で、帰国後、旅行中の多くの美しい写真を送って貰った。

In recent winter seasons, I was posting the pictures taken during overseas travels. The last one was photo No. 147 of New Zealand travel posted on February 24, 2010. It was taken at the exit of Waitomo Caves. For some days from today, I will post the rest of the photos taken on that travel. The above picture (No. 148) of the totem pole was taken near the entrance of Waitomo Caves after coming out from caves. The persons standing at both sides of the pole are a dentist and his wife in our travel group. They live in Wakayama Prefecture, and the husband is adept at photography. After returning home, I received a lot of beautiful pictures taken by him during the travel.
