ウォーキングの目的地としてよく行く堺市・八田荘公園には、二つの小高い丘があり、新緑や紅葉の季節には格別美しくなる木々が植えられているが、全て落葉樹で、冬には上の写真の姿となる。しかし、枝ばかりの風景も悪くない。下の写真は、このような木の一つの枝に留まっていた二羽のハト。2013 年 1 月 5 日撮影。
In Handasho (or Hattaso) Park, Sakai, where I often go as a destination for walking exercise, there are two small hills covered with trees. Those trees become exceptionally beautiful in the seasons of fresh green and autumn leaves, but all of them are deciduous trees. Thus, all leaves of those trees are fallen in winter, and the hills show the landscape as given in the photo above. However, the scenery of branches only is not necessarily disagreeable. The photo below shows two pigeons sitting on a branch of one of the trees on the hills. Taken on January 5, 2013.
