写真は上から、(1) バイカウツギ(別名サツマウツギ、異名サツキバイ。近所の家から大きな切り枝を貰い、幾つかに切り分けて挿し木した。うまく根づいてくれればよいが…)、(2) シシリンチウム・イエローストーン(直径 1 センチほどの花)、(3) 白花のムラサキツユクサ、(4) キショウブ。いずれもわが家の庭で。
From top to bottom: (1) sweet mock-orange (Philadelphus satsumi; I got big branches from a neighbor, cut some twigs from them and planted these in my yard. I am now wishing them to take roots successfully), (2) Sisyrinchium californium 'Yellowstone' (a flower of about 1-cm diameter), (3) Ohio spiderwort with white flower and (4) yellow Iris. All the photos were taken in my yard.
