島根県などに豪雨と被害をもたらした悪天候が去り、当地では 4 日ぶりの晴天となった。ウォーキングに出ると、中の池公園の遊歩道脇にケイトウの花を見かけた（1 枚目の写真）。公園の池には、この夏、何本もの糸が並行に張り渡してあるが、何のためだろうか（2 枚目の写真）。猛暑の日々、私は近くの大型商業施設（3 枚目の写真）の内部をウォーキングの主なコースに当てている。きょうの午前中は比較的涼しかったので、この裏の鳳公園内を一周してから中へ入った（4 枚目の写真）。
Bad weather that brought heavy rain and damages to Shimane and other places has gone, and we have seen here clear sky for the first time in these four days. Upon going out for a walk, I saw flowers of plumed cockscomb (the first photo) at the side of the promenade in Nakanoike Park. This summer, many threads are put in parallel over the pond in this park (the second photo). I wonder what is the purpose of them. On blistering days, I choose for the central route of my walking exercise the interior of the large-scale commercial facility nearby (the third photo). It was relatively cool this morning. So I went to the inside of this facility (the fourth photos) after going around Ōtori Park at the back of it.
