クマのようだ (It Looks Like a Bear)

　堺市中区八田寺町にある蜂田（はちた）神社は鈴の宮の通称を持つ。社の起源と思われる蜂田連（はちたむらじ）が土焼きの鈴12個を作り、毎年春の初めに神前に供え、鈴音の良し悪しでその年の吉凶を占ったという古事によるものという [1]。この神社の隣にある鈴の宮公園は、私のウォーキングの一つの行き先である。神社の大きな木の一つが、少し離れたところから見ると、クマのように見えることに先日気づいた（写真。2011年9月19日、ウォーキング中に撮影）。ところで、町内会の最近の機関紙に、この付近にアライグマが出没しているという記事があった。

Next to Suzunomiya Park, which is one of the destinations of walking exercise, there is Hachita Shrine. The shrine is also known by the name of Suzunomiya. The latter name is said to have originated from the fact that Hachita-murajis, who were thought to be the founder family of the shrine, made twelve bells of baked clay, offered them to god and practiced divination each year. The other day I found that one of tall trees of the shrine looks like a bear from a little distance (see the above photo taken during walking on September 19, 2011). By the way, the latest newsletter of our neighborhood association carried a report that a raccoon had appeared sometimes recently in this area.
