ネリネ (Nerine sarniensis)

　わが家の庭のゲラニウムの葉の間から、ネリネの茎が毎年冬に伸び出て花を咲かせるが、球根が増える様子はない。そこで二年ほど前にまた、球根をいくつか買って植木鉢に入れた。その中の一つがいま初めて花を咲かせている（12 月 4 日撮影）。ゲラニウムの間から咲くほうは、ツボミが出来始めたところだが、花弁が濃いピンク色の、もう少し華やかな花になる（こちらに昨年の写真）。

Among the leaves of the cranesbills in our yard, a stem of Nerine sarniensis comes out every winter to show flowers, but the number of bulbs does not seem to increase. Two years or so ago, we bought some bulbs of this plant again and put them in flowerpots. One of them is now flowering for the first time (the photo was taken on December 4). The stem among the cranesbills just has begun to have buds, which will grow into a little more showy flowers with dark pink petals (the photo of last year is posted here).
