早春の花々６ (Flowers of Early Spring 6)

　サクラに似ているが、バラ科サクラ属のベニスモモである。2010年3月11日、鳳公園で撮影。

These blossoms look like cherry blossoms. In fact, they are the blossoms of the purple cherry plum that belongs to Rosaceae (Rose family; the botanical name Prunus cerasifera var. atropurpurea). The photo was taken at Ōtori Park on March 11, 2010.
