(Plum Blossoms in Kōzen Park)

Yesterday morning my wife and I went to Kozen Park for seeing plum blossoms. These years this is one of our annual events. The park is at the distance of one hour's walk from our house. We took a bus in part of the way back home. Our visit to the park was later than usual. However, there were so many kinds of plum blossoms that some were still in full bloom or yet going to open.

Different kinds of plum at their best.

The kind of plum named Kenkyō, meaning "surprise to see."

The kind of plum named Shirataki-shidare, meaning "weeping tree looking like white falls."

The kind of plum named Musashino after the name of a plain in Kanto district.
