笠池公園のシダレウメが、下枝にはまだツボミが多いものの、見頃を迎えている（写真は昨 2 日に撮影）。この冬は格別寒かったので、昨年の同公園のシダレウメの満開はもっと早かったのではないかと思い、写真を探した。意外にも昨年は 3 月 13 日に撮影して、「今年の冬は寒い日が多かったので、開花が遅かった」と書いていた（その記事はこちら）。
Though lower branches yet have many buds, blossoms of weeping flowering apricots in Kasaike Park have entered almost in full bloom (photos above were taken yesterday). Considering from unusually cold days we had in this winter, I thought the blossoms of this plant should have been in full bloom much earlier last year. However, I have found that I took photos of this plant in the same park on March 13, 2012, and wrote, "We had many cold days this winter. So, the opening of these blossoms were later than usual" (in the Japanese passage of the blog post here).
