山陰の旅５ (Trip to Sanin Region 5)

　旅の2日目の午後に訪れた足立美術館の日本庭園の写真を、さらに掲載する。1枚目は「苔庭」、2枚目は、この写真には入れなかったが、館内の窓をそのまま額縁とすれば、琳派の絵のように見える「生の額絵」、3枚目は、床の間の壁をくりぬいて一幅の山水画がかかっているように見せている「生の掛軸」[1]。

The above are additional photos of the Japanese Gardens of Adachi Museum of Art, where we visited in the afternoon of the second day of the trip. The first shows "The Moss Garden"; the second, "Living Picture Frame" (when the garden is viewed together with the window frame, not shown in this photo, it looks like the screen of the Rimpa School); and the third, "Living Hanging Scroll" [you will appreciate "the garden picture" through the frame cut into the wall of the alcove (tokonoma)] [2].
