バラ １ (Roses 1)

　写真はバラ属（薔薇、バラ科）の色々な品種。堺市・中の池公園で、2011年5月21日に撮影。

　このところ、毎年5月半ばに浜寺公園の「ばら庭園」までバラの花の写真を撮りに行っていたが、今年は近場で済ませた。中の池公園の中心である池の底の改修工事に合わせて、遊歩道の外側の一部にバラの苗木が植えられたのである。木はまだ小さいが、いろいろな品種の花が早速咲いて、池の周りを歩く人々の目を楽しませていた。

These years I used to go to the Rose Garden of Hamadera Park to take pictures of different roses. This year, however, I did the same in the nearby park. On the occasion of the renovation of the bottom of the park's pond, rose seedlings were planted in the outer part of the promenade. Though still being small trees, they showed different varieties of flowers to the pleasure of those who walked around the pond.
