荒山公園の梅 ２ (Ume Blossoms in Kozen Park 2)

　昨日は梅の花の咲く荒山公園の風景写真を掲載したが、きょうと明日は、いくつかの異なる種類の梅の花を紹介する。1枚目の写真は「見驚（けんきょう）」、2枚目は「八重野梅（やえやばい）」である。「見驚」は、見て驚くほど美しいということで名づけられたものだろう。写真の出来映えをその名にふさわしくしなければと思うと、撮影が難しい。「見驚」のもう一枚の写真を別サイトに掲載した。（2011年3月5日撮影）

Yesterday, I posted pictures of scenes in Kozen Park, where ume blossoms were blooming. Today and tomorrow, I will post some photos of different cultivars of ume blossoms. The first piece shows "kenkyo"; and the second, "yaeyabai." "Kenkyo" means "to see and be surprised at," and perhaps is the name to compliment the stunning beauty of this cultivar. Thinking that the picture of them should deserve their name, I felt it difficult to shoot these blossoms. Another photo of "kenkyo" has been posted on the other site. "Yae" of "yaeyabai" means the double flower. (The photos were taken on March 5, 2011.)
