From the evening of April 16, a cocktail party sponsored by the captain was held, leading to full-course dinner also sponsored by the captain. We planned to join this tour to celebrate our golden jubilee reached in November 2010, so that we attended these meetings in a little bit formal wears (the first picture). The second photo was taken at the party together with the captain, Gideon Timmer. The third picture shows the performance of introducing senior sailors. They had a nameplate on their breast with their first name. The introduction was also made by telling the first name as well as the position and native country of each (the Netherlands, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, etc.).
The next day (Tuesday, April 17), the ship set sail at 6:00 from Volendam, aiming to enter the Amsterdam port at 9:00. Along the canals, beautiful houses were seen (two photos above). (To be continued)

More than 2000 houses and other buildings were damaged (the numbers were updated later). I sincerely express my sympathy to those who suffered the loss, injury and damage.
