メルク修道院からの眺め。メルク川下流方面。同川がドナウ川に注いでいる。ドナウ川の対岸に前日船から見たエマースドルフの町が見える（この説明を書くため、写真を拡大して眺めていて気づいた）。

On the opposite bank of the Danube, there is the town of Emmersdorf, which we saw from the ship the day before (for writing this description, I looked at an enlarged version of this photo and noticed it).
